Close to a thousand doctors of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicans went to Le Pavillion, along Macapagal Avenue, on the night of Feb 20, 2014 to attend the PAFP-PHAREX Fellowship night. Together, they celebrated the three-year partnership.

A prayer by Corporate Relations Manager, Eric Lim started the night. The UP Pep Squad, joined later by the PAFP Board of Directors, followed with an exhilarating number. PHAREX President and CEO, Mr. Beau Agana III, then gave his opening remarks. He ended his speech with a video showcasing PHAREX’s continued support of PAFP projects, and particularly of the Academy’s new Ramon R. Angeles-PHAREX Library and Museum.

Also on the night’s itinerary was a cheer showcase: PAFP chapters from Metro Manila, Davao, Isabela and Cebu competed against each other with their respective group cheers. The Cebu chapter bagged first place with their colorful costumes and organized choreography.

Further adding to the night’s festivities were the raffle, featuring prizes given by the different PHAREX Product Managers, and the appearance of a very special guest: Ms. Charice Pempengco. Her performance, which included both original pieces and renditions of Whitney Houston songs, brought many of the doctors to their feet.

Hosted by Mikey Bustos and Dimples Romana, together with PAFP Vice President Dr. Eli Belarmino and Board Member Dra. Disi Yap-Alba, the PAFP-PHAREX Fellowship Night was indeed a night of fun, exciting performances, and reunions with old friends.
