Top generics provider Pharex HealthCorp in partnership with the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) recently conducted the Health Informatics Program, a computer education support program for physicians during the recently concluded 18th World Organization of National Colleges, Academies and Academic Association of General Practitioners/Family Physicians (WONCA) Regional Conference for Asia 2011 held at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel.
Health Informatics or Medical Informatics program combines teaching of information science, computer science, and healthcare to help family physicians learn the latest on computer applications that will help them provide enhanced medical care to patients. With the program, PAFP and Pharex hope that doctors will now be adept in computer applications needed in various areas of their profession.
