The Philippine Academy of Family Physicians held its 58th Anniversary and Annual Convention last March 7-9, 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City with the theme: Family Physicians Advancing the Lives of Filipinos through Universal Health Care. An annual event where 4,000 members of the academy nationwide gather to learn new insights and trends in family medicine.
We have supported the academy through sponsorship of the Clinical Case Contest and Family Case Contest. On Day 2, we sponsored a Lunch Symposium where Sorexidine was highlighted. The symposium was entitled: “Sore Throat and Other Oropharyngeal Infections:It’s Not As Simple As You Think.” It was a successful activity with more than 300 target doctor attendees.
We also had a 3-day booth exhibit which catered our respective Pharex products.
