What is Pharex® B-Complex ?

Have you ever wondered how your body accomplishes functions like breathing, digesting food, and movement on top of your other tasks? You have the nerves to thank for these!

Sensory and motor nerves help deliver messages from the brain to other parts of the body and assist in muscle movement. These nerves also allow you to feel or experience sensations and ensure you can breathe, sweat, or digest food.1

However, some people may not always appreciate the importance of nerve health. Over time, the nerves may degenerate, leading to nerve pain accompanied by three primary symptoms: ngalay, manhid, and tusok-tusok.2

While there are many possible causes of nerve pain, health experts have cited Vitamin B deficiency as one of its main causes.

Take charge of your nerve health today! A daily dose of Pharex® Vitamin B1+B6+B12 may help you meet your daily vitamin needs and boost energy for your body and brain while reducing the risk of deficiencies and nerve pain symptoms.3

Para Pharexcited ang katawan at isip, choose Pharex® Vitamin B1+B6+B12 B-Complex!

Product Information

Through the years, many health experts have emphasized the potential benefits of B vitamins not just for nerve health,4 but for other body functions too. This supplement contains these 3 Bvitamins that can help provide multiple benefits:

  • Vitamin B1 (Thiamine): This vitamin helps provide energy to nerve cells and maintain nerve membrane function. Vitamin B1 plays a big role in converting carbohydrates that serve as “building blocks” of energy.4

Other benefits of vitamin B1 include helping metabolize glucose and synthesizing neurotransmitters like amino acids, serotonin, and acetylcholine.4
  • Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine): This B vitamin is important for your nervous system since it helps synthesize neurotransmitters and myelin.4

Neurotransmitters refer to chemicals that function as messengers and send signals to other nerve cells. Different types of neurotransmitters help maintain ideal muscle movement, breathing, heart rate, digestion, mood, and more.5

Meanwhile, the myelin is a layer of fat and proteins that wraps around nerves and protects them.6

Vitamin B6 also assists with amino acid metabolism. This is important because it then leads to the metabolism of neurotransmitters, particularly GABA and serotonin. These are vital in delivering messages or signals throughout the nerves.7
  • Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin): This B vitamin is known to function as a coenzyme in multiple processes that aim to restore nerve health, especially if you suffered an injury.4

Vitamin B12 may also help synthesize myelin, hormones, proteins, and lipids (apart from metabolizing these), function as a cofactor in DNA and RNA synthesis, and produce red blood cells.8
While it is true that you can get B vitamins from food sources like salmon, spinach, organ meats, and eggs, you can always use an added assist in the form of a vitamin supplement like Pharex® Vitamin B1+B6+B12!

In 1987, Pharex then shifted to marketing and distributing generic products, while appointing Metro Drug as its exclusive brand distributor. This move proved to be timely because of the passing of the Generics Act of 1988. Many successful years followed, and in 2016, Pharex was acquired by RiteMED Inc. Even after more than 35 years in the industry, Pharex remains committed to empowering Filipino families by providing them with top-notch healthcare solutions.
